The Toronto Youth Cabinet is holding its first Black Youth Gala! We aim to fill an identified gap for Black youth, whose accomplishments and contributions to the City are rarely recognized at events with similar objectives. Our goal is to create a legacy that celebrates Black youth and organizations dedicated to their empowerment by encouraging collaboration, advocacy, and creating a safe space for them to network across and build together. This event will provide Black youth and their peers, community members and mentors to commemorate their accomplishments in all facets of life - work, school, civic engagement and more.

Let's celebrate the contributions Black youth play as advocates, visionaries, and agents of social change for communities throughout the City of Toronto!

Youth between the ages of 13 to 27, who either live, work or go to school in the City of Toronto are eligible to receive an award.
